After a bit of a break, and thoroughly killing the 80s party madness at The Dame and Lower 48, Joe and Nate decided to once again revive the long time tradition of The 80s Prom.
This time at the new location of Busters Billiards and Backroom, they played all the hits from the decade and of course several not-so-much hits. Nate managed to wrangle in some hip hop classics, and we arranged some punk and country in there as well. There is just so much music to pack in from Run DMC to Madonna to Prince to who knows, it always feels like some popular requests get left out. Sorry for that! You will have to be at the next one!
So, for the 300 plus that attended, and almost all in costume, tell your friends neighbors and shoot maybe even your parents who lived out the 80s. There will be another bout of beats from that era coming very soon! Start looking now for some jams, ray-ban sunglasses, scrunchies and whatever else…
